Previous volunteer work with the City of Mississauga and the Chinese-Canadian community has taught me that community involvement is not only personally rewarding, but can improve the overall well-being of our communities.
For this reason, I strongly encourage Canadians to find ways to get involved in their hometowns. I am confident it is the best way to give back and get back.
Senator Victor Oh with Citizenship Judge Rafiq Rokerya (Mississauga, Ontario)
My new role as a senator has strengthened my firm belief in the value of community leadership. I am deeply committed to nurturing strong ties with Canadians and fostering open channels of communication. That said, if you have any questions, suggestions concerns, please do not hesitate to contact my office. Your feedback is important to me.
I invite you to visit this section to learn about my official and public engagements. When I am not on Parliament Hill, I frequently attend events such as charity fundraisers, parades, festivals, banquets, conferences and citizenship ceremonies. In addition, I visit senior homes, community organizations and local businesses to extend my support. I hope we cross paths in the near future.
