Canada and Indonesia have established diplomatic relations for 61 years. Bilateral relations between the two countries remain strong while economic and trade cooperation have grown significantly, particularly in areas of financial services, infrastructure, oil and gas sector, mining, aerospace and defence, information and communication technology, and agri-food products.
